Tickets are priced at £40 for seated, £35 for standing (plus a ticket fee, taken by the ticketing company). 100% of the actual ticket price goes to Eversley CC fundraising effort and a contribution to The Ruth Strauss Foundation.
The event will be Sir Andrew Strauss discussing and explaining his story from being a junior, through cricket pathways and into the England team, to his present day involvement with England. To finish there will be a chance for a Q&A. The bar will be open on the evening.
The event is a strictly ticket only event. If you do not have a ticket you will unfortunately not be able to attend.
It is fantastic that Andrew is prepared to support the club in this way and he has agreed to it on the basis of at the Eversley Clubhouse for Eversley members. We have never done an event along these lines before and it may therefore be that some members will be disappointed. Please let me know if you wished to purchase ticket however weren’t able to, as this will give us an idea of what the demand is, no promises but who knows we might be able to do something.
This is a members only event. Only paid members should be attending (unless an adult of a child under the age of 15).
All juniors should have paid membership for the 2023 season - therefore only if you have paid membership can you purchase tickets.
Adults must have paid membership in the 2022 season to be able to purchase tickets (unless a new member or payment terms agreed with the committee).
Children under the age of 15 years old must have 1 adult attend with them. They must purchase their ticket as well. Unfortunately due to numbers, they can only have 1 parent attend.
Juniors aged 15 or over do not have to have a parent with them. If they do, they must be a member of the club and again, purchase a ticket.
Each adult member is entitled to 1 ticket for themselves and not other non members (you will be able to book tickets in a group to make purchasing easier for families).
There will be a raffle and a silent auction held on the night, please support where possible by buying tickets, making bids and if you have any items you wish to donate please let me know.
