Welcome to Eversley Cricket Club

All set for a great season!

With the arrival of the sunshine we are starting to get really excited for the upcoming cricket season.

The league matches all scheduled, the colts full to capacity and the adults enjoying the benefit of some terrific coaching from
Aftab Habib the 2014 season looks like being one of the best yet!

The first match takes place on Thursday 24th April when the U15's play Yateley at Eversley.

The first colts outdoor training will be on Friday 25th April at 6:00pm.

On Friday 30th May 2014 the
Lashings World XI will arrive with their cricket super stars to challenge our 1st XI.

Welcome to Eversley Cricket Club

Cricket has been played at our Cross Green ground since 1787 and is one of the oldest grounds in the South of England.

We recently expanded our facilities, behind Cross Green, to incorporate a second cricket ground and a state of the art cricket indoor training centre (ITC). A number of well know cricketers, including Monty Panesar and the Australian International Ladies team have used these facilities together with the Ian Botham Cricket School.

These facilities, including our club house, are available for hire.

We run four adult mens sides on a Saturday competing the the Thames Valley League, with our First X1 playing in Division 1, one Sunday League and a Sunday friendly side and a number of local competitions including the UK Village Cup. We have a ladies team playing in the Hampshire Cricket League and a very successful colts section with over 230 boys and girls playing from ages U9 to U17.

For the 2014 season we are proud to have 36 colts and girls representing District and County sides. If you would like to find out more about our colts and girls please contact Mike Tresise

Each year we entertain Lashings World X1 which is a great fund raising event. There are numerous sponsorships/advertising opportunities on this day. If you are interested, please contact our Sponsorship Officer, Jeremy Hammond.

The Club is always looking for new adult players and if anyone is interested they should contact Sam Glaze, Cricket Chairman for more information or join us in our ITC for winter nets on Wednesday evenings.

2014 will be our 3rd season and we are a very social cricket team and have plenty of fun! The side includes a number of novice cricketers as well as girls and if you would like to find out more about our ladies team please contact Mike Tresise.
