Welcome to Eversley Cricket Club

Lashings of Fun!

What a brilliant day! Friday 30th May and we welcomed the Lashings World XI to Eversley.

Scott Dyer lead the team against the superstars lead by Phil DeFreitas in a thrilling match watched by a great crowd at Cross Green.

Before the main match the Eversley Colts were given masterclass coaching sessions from the likes of Ian Butler, Chris Schofield and to the delight of the boys none other than Herschelle Gibbs!

The U15 Boys Lashings Challenge cup was retained by Hartley-Wintey and the Eversley boys are promising to come back stronger next year.

Here's to seeing you all in 2015.

Welcome to Eversley Cricket Club

Cricket has been played at our Cross Green ground since 1787 and is one of the oldest grounds in the South of England.

We recently expanded our facilities, behind Cross Green, to incorporate a second cricket ground and a state of the art cricket indoor training centre (ITC). A number of well know cricketers, including Monty Panesar and the Australian International Ladies team have used these facilities together with the Ian Botham Cricket School.

These facilities, including our club house, are available for hire.

We run four adult mens sides on a Saturday competing the the Thames Valley League, with our First X1 playing in Division 1, one Sunday League and a Sunday friendly side and a number of local competitions including the UK Village Cup. We have a ladies team playing in the Hampshire Cricket League and a very successful colts section with over 230 boys and girls playing from ages U9 to U17.

For the 2014 season we are proud to have 36 colts representing District and County sides. If you would like to find out more about our colts please contact Mike Tresise

Each year we entertain Lashings World X1 which is a great fund raising event. There are numerous sponsorships/advertising opportunities on this day. If you are interested, please contact our Sponsorship Officer, Jeremy Hammond.

The Club is always looking for new adult players and if anyone is interested they should contact Sam Glaze, Cricket Chairman for more information or join us in our ITC for winter nets on Wednesday evenings.

Ladies
2014 will be our 3rd season and we are a very social cricket team and have plenty of fun! The side includes a number of novice cricketers as well as girls and if you would like to find out more about our ladies team please contact Mike Tresise.
