Welcome to Eversley Cricket Club
Are you ready for 2015?

After a terrific 2014 we are busy planning for next season. Indoor training starts during week commencing Monday 5th January and the fixture card is rapidly filling up.

The challenge will be to improve on 2014 results when the Men's 1st XI finished 4th after a great season in the Thames Valley League Division One.

The highlight of the colts season was the U9's success in the North Hampshire District. They won all three divisions without losing a match!

During the autumn we've had success in the County and District trials which have been held over the last few weeks and are due to conclude by December.

Many congratulations to all those who have been successful and commiserations to those who missed out. Once again we will be running our Developing Player Programme for those who didn't get in.

We are sending out membership forms for 2015 and are looking for more volunteer coaches. As a starter we are holding a first aid course in the evening of Monday 15th December. Contact mtresise@lineone.net if you want to come along.

Welcome to Eversley Cricket Club

Cricket has been played at our Cross Green ground since 1787 and is one of the oldest grounds in the South of England.

We recently expanded our facilities, behind Cross Green, to incorporate a second cricket ground and a state of the art cricket indoor training centre (ITC). A number of well know cricketers, including Monty Panesar and the Australian International Ladies team have used these facilities together with the Ian Botham Cricket School.

These facilities, including our club house, are available for hire.

We run four adult mens sides on a Saturday competing the the Thames Valley League, with our First X1 playing in Division 1, one Sunday League and a Sunday friendly side and a number of local competitions including the UK Village Cup. We have a ladies team playing in the Hampshire Cricket League and a very successful colts section with over 230 boys and girls playing from ages U9 to U17.

For the 2014 season we are proud to have 36 colts representing District and County sides. If you would like to find out more about our colts please contact Mike Tresise

Each year we entertain Lashings World X1 which is a great fund raising event. There are numerous sponsorships/advertising opportunities on this day. If you are interested, please contact our Sponsorship Officer, Jeremy Hammond.

The Club is always looking for new adult players and if anyone is interested they should contact Sam Glaze, Cricket Chairman for more information or join us in our ITC for winter nets on Wednesday evenings.

2014 will be our 3rd season and we are a very social cricket team and have plenty of fun! The side includes a number of novice cricketers as well as girls and if you would like to find out more about our ladies team please contact Mike Tresise.
