Cricket has been played at our Cross Green ground since 1787 and is one of the oldest grounds in the South of England.
We recently expanded our facilities, behind Cross Green, to incorporate a second cricket ground and a state of the art cricket indoor training centre (ITC). A number of well known cricketers, including Monty Panesar, Nick Compton and the Australian International Ladies team have used these facilities together with the Ian Botham Cricket School.
These facilities, including our club house, are available for hire please contact the Club.
We run four adult mens sides on a Saturday competing the the Thames Valley League, with our First X1 playing in Division 2, a Sunday friendly side and a number of local competitions. We have a ladies team playing in the Hampshire Cricket League and a very successful colts section with over 200 boys and girls playing from ages U9 to U15.
For the 2019 season we are proud to have 35 colts representing District and County sides. If you would like to find out more about our colts please contact Dave Howorth.
This year sees the return of our "big game" which is a great fund raising event. We will face a new opponent this year - the PCA England Masters team. There are numerous sponsorship/advertising opportunities on this day. If you are interested, please contact our Sponsorship Officer, Joe Howorth
The Club is always looking for new adult players and if anyone is interested they should contact Scott Sharp, Director of Cricket for more information or join us in our Indoor Training Centre for winter nets on Sunday's at 12:30.
