Further to the information on the ECB Support Coach course, here are the details of the ECB Foundation 1 course (replaces the UKCC2/Level 2).
Key points on this :

This course enables the individual to lead coaching sessions (vs support)

For qualification there is a need to have the Safeguarding Qualification (quick & foc on line course), DBC (foc) plus a Sports First Aid course (3 hours & c. £30)

The cost is £150 – the club will pay for 50% of the cost providing that the individual commits to the full coaching role at the club ie winter/summer training & running a team.

Based on the above the qualified coach’s children will receive foc membership for each year (for those don’t have junior membership an equivalent benefit will be provided)
