Hi all Junior members,
With the outdoor season very nearly on us, here is an update of key information and happenings.
All age groups (except the U15s) will train on a Friday evening at 18.00 starting 22nd April running through to the end of July.
The U15s will train on a Wednesday evening starting 20th April running through to the end of July.
Every Friday night the clubhouse Bar will be open and the BBQ will also be back as from Friday 29th April.
As with previous years the BBQ will be “manned” by parents – we require 5 parents each Friday and there will be a rota by age group for each Friday – parents will be requested & required to get involved whether that’s cooking, serving or just taking the money.
We are also looking for help in serving behind the Bar – if interested please let us know.
For the first two training sessions on 22nd and 29th April we will be holding a “kit amnesty” where parents can bring in kit that has been outgrown and we will make available for purchase at a token value. So please bring any unwanted kit (clothing or equipment) and we will try to recycle as much as possible and make the acquisition of kit a bit more affordable.
We will also have Eversley Caps on sale on a Friday evening – we have purchased a stock to ensure speedy supply.
Your Age Group Managers will advise where the various groups are training and more details.
The fixtures have been set and this will see our Junior teams playing c. 150 matches over May-June-July. Your Age Group Managers will communicate the fixtures to you.
