Junior Outdoor Season

01 Apr 2024

Hi all Junior Members,

Just a few key points as we approach the end on the Winter/Indoor season & the beginning of the Summer/outdoor season....

Last Indoor training is on Sunday 21st April.

Outdoor training starts Friday 26th April - all age groups will train on a Friday evening - and runs through to the last Friday in July.

As usual the Club house & Bar will be open and this year will see the return of the BBQ.

We have now (belatedly) received the fixture lists from Hampshire, your Age Group Managers/Coaches will be able to provide this information in due course.

Match day kit - when playing for Eversley we expect our Juniors to wear an Eversley Cap, Eversley Shirt and Black Trousers (the Trousers don't have to be ECC branded).

These can be purchased from Serious Cricket using the following link :

All communication about matches (availability, selection etc) is made through SPOND & therefore it is important that you register on this App.

You should register your child (not yourself) on here, please can you do ASAP as we will shortly be publishing fixtures etc.  Please use this link https://group.spond.com/HWVSJ

Grounds Preparation :

With the recent/ongoing wet weather our (& everyone else's) pitch preparations are about 4 weeks behind. We will be setting our "Get Set" members pre season grounds preparations one of the weekends in April - we are just waiting for the Grounds to get drier/firmer, please come along & help with this as your assistance will be needed this year more than most. Once the ground is drier/firmer we will need to do a lot of rolling of the squares in a very short period of time - we are looking for as many volunteers to help with this as possible, training will be provided, please let me or your coach know if you can give up a few hours of your time to help.

With the outdoor season just 4 weeks away we are looking forward to lots of great cricket.
