Change of management – Alan Budge Eversley Indoor Cricket Centre
We are pleased to advise that the management of the Eversley Indoor Cricket Centre has been successfully transferred from Supersportz to Serious Cricket.
The Indoor Training Centre commenced operation 15 years ago with the objective to provide a state of the art indoor training centre to ECC members, to develop greater cricket facilities for the local community & to have a commercially viable operation in order to fund future maintenance & refurbishment requirements. The partnership between ESA & Supersportz met all of these objectives and we thank Supersportz for their role in achieving this.
Following a formal tender process conducted last year a decision was made to award the future contract to Serious Cricket. This was made for various reasons notably in order to provide a secure future funding for future maintenance & refurbishment requirements.
Following a transition period in August, Serious Cricket have now re-opened the centre for normal activities from September. To enable an easier booking process Serious Cricket have put in place an Online booking system which is now live. As part of the agreement with Serious Cricket, ECC will maintain its current levels of access for club training through the winter & summer months. Rather than a discounted lane hire rate for members, there will be a 10% online discount on all Serious Cricket equipment & clothing when using code EVERSLEYMEMBER10.
