As part of the fundraising for the new nets we are running a Silent Auction and a Raffle in the lead up to and at the Junior Presentation Day on Sunday 3rd September.
The Juniors have been raising money for the new nets and we will hear more about what they have been up to next Sunday, but I can advise that some of their initiatives have been truly awesome and very humbling with individuals raising hundreds and even thousands of £s.
The Silent Auction - as we have asked business's and individuals to sponsor the new nets and the PCA Day we have been given a few interesting items that we invite all members to make bids for in advance or on the day. The link for the silent auction is as follows :
The merchandise will be on show at the Junior Presentation Day and at the End of Season party next Saturday.
The Raffle - this will be held on the day and the prizes include...Silent Pool Distillery Gin Tour for 4 (worth £100), Odds Farm Family Ticket (worth £60), Private 1-2-1 climbing lesson at Oakwood Climbing Centre, 3 cases of Fullers London Pride, Four Ball Golf Round at North Hampshire Golf Club (worth £100), Limited Edition Prints of the 2005 Eversley vs Hampshire Benefit Match, one months on line Yoga & Fitness course, Glenlivet Single Malt Scotch Whiskey....and many more.
Every single penny from both the Silent Auction and the Raffle will go to the new nets.
This is part of our final push to raise as much money as we can before the end of September which will decide whether we can afford a 4, 3 or 2 net system.
